Matcha Kudasai began with a simple idea: to bring good matcha into everyday moments.

Our matcha is sourced from Yame, Japan, a region known for producing some of the highest quality matcha in the country. Tea farmers in Yame focus on quality rather than quantity, carefully cultivating tea leaves that develop a smooth texture, rich umami, and naturally balanced flavour.

We had the opportunity to visit the tea farms in Yame ourselves, seeing firsthand how the tea is grown, harvested, and processed. These visits allow us to better understand the care and craftsmanship behind each harvest, and to build meaningful connections with the producers.

At Matcha Kudasai, we choose matcha based on flavour and drinkability. Some are smooth and gentle for traditional matcha, while others have a stronger profile that pairs beautifully with milk. Each matcha is selected to be something we truly enjoy drinking ourselves.
